This registry contains analysis of patients who have received at least 1 Realief Neuropathy Therapy treatment.
By default the registry shows all etiologies of peripheral neuropathy. Select the radio button next to a specific etiology and all counts and outcomes data are updated to reflect just that etiology.
Some patients are not included in the analysis for a variety of reasons. Hover over the icons to the left for an explanation of each exclusion criteria.
All analysis below is from patients.
Treatment plans are based on severity of signs and symptoms. Any patients receiving at least 6 treatments are included even if the patient did not complete the full treatment plan.
Patients who had no improvement from first to last measurement or who developed a new symptom during the course of treatment.
Patients who had at least a 30% improvement in intensity (pain) or affected surface area (all other symptoms).
Patients who had complete elimination of symptom in either intensity or affected surface area.
Pain intensity is measured on an 11-point Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The highest intensity reported is used.
Total affected surface area where any pain is reported.
Tightness is a subjective symptom of stiffness, "banded", or "shrink wrapped" sensation.
Numbness is loss of light touch sensation.
Vibration sensation perception threshold as assessed with a 128Hz tuning fork.
Pinprick sensation as assessed with a Wartenberg pinwheel.
